With enrollment or re-registration, students automatically receive a semester ticket which enables them to use the local public transport at no additional cost at their place of study and beyond in the respective area of validity - every day and at any time during the entire semester.
As all students participate in the semester ticket through the semester fee (solidarity principle), the transport associations can offer particularly favorable conditions. The General Student Committee (AStA) has a say in the contracts for the semester ticket - so the students can be sure that their interests and needs are taken into account.
Students at the University of Koblenz and the University of Koblenz (RheinMoselCampus and WesterWaldCampus) receive the Koblenz semester ticket. Students at the RheinAhrCampus of the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences receive the Remagen semester ticket. It is not possible to purchase the Remagen semester ticket for students at the University of Koblenz and Koblenz University (RheinMoselCampus and WesterWaldCampus) or the Koblenzer semester ticket for students at the RheinAhrCampus.
Validation of the student ID
Please make sure that you have your student ID validated in time for the change of semester. The semester ticket is only valid if the student ID contains a stamp (validation) for the current semester. Validation on campus is possible at all times, also if the semester is online due to the pandemic.
Refund for disabled people
Anyone in possession of a disabled pass (Schwerbehindertenausweis; marks: aG, B, BL, G, Gl, H and RF) can have the semester ticket refunded – please use our request form:
