Studying with a child is possible - at least as long as you can rely on well-organised childcare. In Germany, you even have a legal right to have your children looked after in day care facilities.

The Studierendenwerk Koblenz offers childcare for your children in three daycare centres on the campuses of the University and the Hochschule in Koblenz and Remagen. We offer short distances from the lecture hall to the day care centre, flexible drop-off and pick-up times, and suitable care times for your study schedule.

The first point of contact for (expectant) parents is the advisory service for studying with a child. We are open to all your concerns about your changed life situation and answer questions about organising your studies with a child that arise during pregnancy and after the birth of your child.

By the way: Children under the age of 10 can eat for free in our canteens with the "Kids for Free" card when accompanied by a student parent.
